We are a dedicated group of writers in all stages of our writing careers - published, pro status, or just starting out - whose goal is to write the best in romantic fiction!

We create every kind of romance: historical, contemporary, futuristic, paranormal, romantic suspense, chick lit and inspirational.

Toronto Romance Writers was inaugurated in 1986, and this small chapter has blossomed to over 120 members today.

If you're serious about writing romance, and want to meet like-minded writers for discussion, support, advice, feedback or just a chance to get away from your computer and talk with people who understand what drives you to write, think about joining the Toronto Romance Writers. You're welcome to come as a one-time guest, at no charge (unless we are charging everyone a nominal fee for the guest speaker.)

Our October Meeting
New York Times Bestselling Author, Eloisa James, will be presenting a full day workshop to Toronto Romance Writers. The workshops are: "Hitchiker's Guide to the Historical - How To Change Your Focus" and "Doing It All Over Again: Writing Novels in a Series". Workshop details here.
Date: October 18, 2008
Location: Memorial Hall (lower level of North York Library)
Time: 9 am until 4 pm
Reception with Eloisa James to follow at Stage Door Lounge located in the Novotel North York connected to North York Library. The reception will offer complimentary h'ordeurves. Drinks extra.
Registration open to TRW members first from August 9, 2008 to September 12, 2008. TRW members registering after September 12, 2008 will pay the non-member charge of $50. Registration opens to non-members from September 13, 2008 until October 10, 2008.
Prices:
TRW members $20 for workshop
TRW members $30 (includes reception)
Non-members and late TRW members $50 (includes reception)
Cancellation Policy:
If a registrant finds they can’t attend the event after they’ve paid the fee for a workshop or conference, TRW will:
- refund the full fee for any cancellation made four weeks in advance of the event.
- refund half the fee for any cancellation up to seven days in advance of the event.
- make no refund if the cancellation is made within seven days of the event.
However, fees may be transferred to another TRW member OR fees may be transferred to a non-TRW member, but any additional non-member fee shall be owed to TRW, if applicable.
